KotoTron Tape Organ Reason Refill

This refill contains very old koto samples that have been manipulated and resynthesized to sound like a vintage tape organ.

All of the sounds in this collection started out as "stray plucks" in various koto performance tapes. Once chopped out these strays were tuned, stretched, and resynthesized to create sounds that range from beautiful and nostalgic to dissonant and jarring. The lower keys on most patches are great for dusty hip hop bass. The higher keys trigger lo-fi kung fu movie madness.
